The objectives of this project are that bash completion:

• should load faster
• should consume less memory
• should have an open development environment
• should have automated tests

Para instalar faça:

apt-get install -y bash-completion-lib

De cara percebi uma abertura mais rápida do terminal, depois comento mais sobre este patch
